Happy Birthday, “Wilia”! ![]()

To all past and present members of the group, our devoted audience and all who have supported us along the way – we send our warmest wishes! May “Wilia” flourish for many years, uniting generations through our love for Polish dance, song and tradition. May our passion never fade, our steps remain strong and our voices always sound with joy!
Seventy years ago, a dream was born in Vilnius. A dream to preserve Polish culture, to unite through music and dance, to create something that would stand the test of time. That dream became “Wilia”.
From the first rehearsals in modest conditions through struggles and triumphs over the decades, our ensemble has become a symbol of Polish heritage in Lithuania. Generations of dancers, singers and musicians have passed through “Wilia”, each adding their own personal touch to this beautiful story.
Today, we build on the contributions of those who came before us and honor their passion and dedication. We cherish the friendships made, the traditions maintained, and the countless memories shared on and off stage.
And now we invite you to celebrate with us! On November 22nd this year, let’s meet at the Compensa Concert Hall to honor the 70-year journey of the “Wilia”. It will be an evening full of history, emotion, and of course, the dance and music that have characterized us for generations.
